Hey dai!

Hey dai!
i'm so glad you got the package! and that was fast! hhahha. she told me it would take nine to eleven working days. but well apparently it's faster than that. great that you're enjoying all the little snacks! hehhehe

and check it out! hahahh. our little blog has created a bit of 'excitement' i would say. hahhah.
well at least now people are leaving us comments eh? hhahhhhah

lotsa love,
hammy pammy big butt bob!

thanxxxxxxxx

SPAM! *giggle* i got the package.

ok, you won't believe it. i came home after a whole day out with some psychi patients, came home completely shattered, got into bed, chatted to shin for a bit, beeps made dinner, we had dinner together, came back to my room, was trying to explain where the common tendon of the extensor indicis and and extensor digiti minimi were, when i looked over the couch and and saw the package!!

yes yes yes. thank you for all the popping candy! and the marshmallows, and the polar snacks, and the haw flakes! love it.

btw, gee + beeps have been busy moving in. beeps bought a mattress that was 10cm too small on the sides! gee's room is littered with books and magazines (which is typical..) and her relatives are coming to visit TOMORROW. she's got a lot of tidying up to do.

also, i'm sewing my own curtains. very excited.

Is this appropriate?

I can't put any photographs in.
Even though I have many to, I am simply not in the mood to be jovial or to provide any entertainment to anyone.
I realise I think a lot.
I get nostalgic, melancholic, reflective, and simply pensive.
And I still like the old fashion way of pen-and-paper.
There's this certain fulfilment you get from 'roughing' it out, as opposed to typing.
And there's a fluidity from writing it all down. Rough and furious. and joining all your alphabets in your signature scribble. That you can never get from typing it all in.
I seem to be tied down by technology but I also seem to not be able to let go of the past.
I seem to be happy all the time but I also seem to ponder too much till the state of borderline depressive.
What oxymorons these are.
And there are days when I sit on the MRT and secretly smile to myself because I saw something I like.
And today I was very upset on the way home because there were screaming kids and a woman who ran in front of me to take my seat away.
But just as I was on the final bus home, I saw four guys walking and dancing on the street, dressed up in funky punk gear. Top hats, straight-leg checkered pants, old-school converse, chains. Very 80s. And I smiled.
I realise that as I grow older, I find less need in doing things to validate myself.
I find joy in sitting at a kopitiam and looking at the old ladies and men. What they talk about. How they talk. What they think. It's all very eye-opening.
I'm not quite sure when I acquired this passive side of me.
People used to asked how I could be so enthusiastic all the time. Now, I ask myself that too.
I am happy being calm.

Love,
Hammy Pammy Big Butt Bob

On a note of giving you some entertainment.
I'll probably grow old and become 70 year-old woman who pondered so much day in and day out that I start talking to myself. And your grandchildren will see me on the MRT and ask 'Why is that old lady talking to herself?'

DAI!

Hey babe! i got your parcel! thank you so much for it! am very happy! hehhehe. except most of the girls have gone back. jess just left this morning. and nat had left a few days back. only left with kim and the saras if they even come to singapore at all! dear me!

I'm on it to getting you a 21st birthday present! hhhahaha. .still don't know what to get you and haven't had the time to figure something special out! except that well you won't be getting the permanent hair removal anymore. because it costs 1000plus dollars for a full course of treatment that will last you approximately 1.5 to 2 years. so i dont have that sort of money.
maybe next time when i'm working and i can get it as a wedding gift or something like that ok? hehheheheh

And i know we keep putting up pictures and stuff and all. but just wanna say miss u dai!
and guess what?
OUR TAG BOARD'S AT THE BOTTOM AGAIN!!! BLOODY HELL!

6th october. watch it.

ok, sorry. i know i just keep on HARPING about it. but beeps, after reading your comments, i decided to watch the very scary videos for myself. uh, if you don't know what i'm referring to... miss singapore world 2005. hello, where have you been?

so, you know you can actually click on the video profile? yea, and here i am thinking that the girls are actually gonna open their mouths and say something intelligent about themselves and why we should cheer them on to represent singapore in the finals in china and to prove that they are really what we want the world to think of us.

but no. (and why am i not surprised here?) the videos all share a similar theme.
soft porn. (and darling, no offence to you) but it's kinda like what i imagine oldboredsexlesshairless japanese men to watch during their lunch break.

seriously, it's just, let's focus on your breast, mmmm nice, and then we'll show a bit of leg, and then up to your crotch, yea, let's linger there for a little bit (and let all my decentfabdressinggorgeous girlfriends out there shriek in horror at the fugly fugly blue/green flora granny pants. oh, the sort where the waistband comes to the completely unflattering navel line...), hold shoot at the V, then let's go up again to your breast -- cleavage darling, coz that's all the hum sups (did i spell that right??) wanna see, 2 sec on your face (coz we really give a fig) back to the breast (because the pervert of a cameraman only understands what his other head is telling him), then let's have you walk next to the pool, but only focus below your chin.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand. talk about body uglyfying positions!
  1. lying flat on a deck chair so that your double chin's squeezed out to full glory.
  2. lying flat (again) so that your boobies spill sideways and you look um.. like you got very cheap pec implants. (ok save for certain ms woo + kho + tan who are suffering from singapore's we-only-carry-B-size problem. and ms wong, your right mercat is making a cameo.)
  3. having to squit in the sun and smile. or squit and giggle. or squint and look coyly away. like seriously biatches. what happened to oversized jackie o's? boho floppy hairs? sexy little sharapova sun visors?
  4. sitting on the side of the deck chair. and let's face it. unless you come in DHL/Ikea flat pack, we all cannot adopt this middlejelly inducing position.

and what's up with the hair stylist? oh. wait. i forgot. *slaps forehead* it's singapore. we only accept the long rebonded look. ha. ha. ha.

i am sorry. i haven't been in such a good mood in a long while.

love you bitches.

x Delirious!!

ps. and why are they all chinese? talk about racial equality.

i am a happy girl

decided to whip furniture all around room and change layout entirely. one weekend gone. slept at 2am monday morning. woke up at 7am monday morning. so tired i had was battling to keep my eyes open. psychiatry lectures from 9am. tummy grumbling. only dr pannu's lecture "Symptoms of Psychiatric Illness" was worth the trek to the East End. lectures over at 1623pm. fucking sun in my eyes, squinting of no help, damn that i wore spectacles. bus journey home spectacularly humdrum, save for liling keeping me conscious. come home to a messy messy flat. hair everywhere. sink looks like a pottery factory erupted from the piping. clothespillowsbeltswoollyblankets take up entire space on couch.

why am i living such a patchy, messy life?

but i am a happy girl.
happy happy happy.

shin's coming home wednesday evening.

I think it becomes rather pathetic when someone tells you you're spending a lot of time on your blog. although i do not know you bryan, hahha, i must agree with u! but screw it all! who cares? because you get entertained by our blog don't u? hhehhe.

Anyway, we went to ZOUK last night cause Nat got the job at morgan stanley! yeah! considering all the amount of work u did for them, you had better get the job! hahha. Kim Jess Nat and I! it was fantabulous fun! hheehe. i heart sweet gestures

yes, ok. am fully aware i have been blogging more than is reasonable.
but really, i am so so bored over here.
there's nothing to do.
feel no motivation to cook anything.
therefore not really getting nutrition that i should get.
but tis ok, as i ate plenty in singapore, and have about 4 - 5 jelly rolls on midriff to last into deep winter.
and then my nutritional woes suddenly dissipated when ting and lou (actually only ting) presented me with a pretty purple box of Thornton's Continental White and Milk Chocolates as a thank you gift!
absolutely fabulous.

all these little nuggets of creamy blended nuts, pralines, truffles, powdered sugar, dried fruit, chopped nuts, toffee and crumbly metallic wrappers!

holes where chocolates were offered to ting and lou, or scoffed by yours truly

if i can't have Shin, then at least i can have you

A day at the Concourse!

Hello everyone! welcome back! here's another post from yours truly! Btw, I miss you DAI! hope you're kept busy busy in London, so we'll have lots to see! And i hope i can visit you in London soon! love ya babe! hheehe
anyway, today, i helped matt with a photoshoot which was so much fun! hehehe. And it wasn't that menial labour, and Matt was doing me a favour, so thank you matt! hope it all turned out well! sorry i couldnt stay on. but i think my French, test went ok! i think i will pass! hehhe
So anyway, yesterday, i was sent out to buy confetti for today's shoot... But i think i might have gotten the wrong kind in the end. but Matt was nice and said it's ok. hahhaha.

I got Yan yan to go with me to Concourse shopping mall cause that's where all the party shops have relocated to! seriously.. no one goes there. but it looks class.. and there's party shops look like that ones you find at the HDB blocks.. a very odd combination if you ask me! So look at what happened for the whole exciting day!

This is Yanyan! And i put the picture where you look nice ok?
Even though risky me looking bad!

Of course, along the way we got very distracted. Or rather i did.. with all the candy! And yanyan with all his toys! argh! and look it's Yupi! remember the burger shape ones? and the worm ones? and the sea creature ones? wait... were there sea creature ones?? maybe not.. hhehehe
And here, we have the japanese marshmellows!!! yeah! remember? strawberry filling or apple or chocolate...they have that now! i think.. that's what the yellow package looks like! but it's heavenly and so soft.. and oh........
Next up we have the cute shaped lollies! Frankly, they taste like crap. but don't they look so cute? the kind u distract kids with but you woudlnt actually want them eating it.... cause the taste is so bad they might just die from it or something like that.
AND!!!! OMGGG!!!!! The best find of all in the whole day!!!!! MAGIC POPS!!!!!!!! remember the crystal things? that you put in your mouth and they keep crackling??? they're soooo good to eat!!!! hahaha. but don't buy the lemon one! Yanyan says it taste exotic... but really i think it's tastes like Pledge.... the strawberry one is good though! hhhee
What fun games we had! remember back in the good 'ol days when it was so good to just play with bubbles? and it's so cheap! 80cents i think? i wanted to take a pic of me blowing the bubbles but Yanyan refused and he didnt want to be caught blowing the bubbles either. so yeh... and i kinda got it on a lot of passers-by... so that wasn't too smart of me either.. hahahha
Finally we get to food!!!! AH BALLING tang yuan!!!! the best! i had six of them! and really i wanted more. but then i thought about it and realised that i was just being greedy. cause i was too full to stomach anymore but i wanted to stock up for future cravings for tang yuan, cause you dont get this very often. sigh...
AUNTIE! SUGARCANE JIA LING MONG! i that's what the han yu pin ying goes like. hahaha this is the best drink you can get in singapore! for out retardedly hot weather, this is a daily must have! and everyone should buy their own stash of sugarcane and squeezing machine as well. highly advised!

And there you have it, my exciting day out at the concourse, who would have thought that a day of looking for confetti could have turned out to be so much fun! yeah! we should go there more often! hehheeh and yes.. i did get the confetti in the end ok? hhahha

anal retentiveness

came home at 1030 in the morning after a very tedious trip to heathrow.

had lunch (coz i was hungry and it was too late for breakfast anyway) and called shin. felt like a total loser for being at home all alone all the time and moving furniture and tidying up most of the time.

went into kitchen and looked at bin. the sight of which completely repelled me.

so decided to dismantle it and wash it. as kitchen sink far too miniscule for gigantic barbantia, dismantled whole thing and washed it in bath tub. sticky dark green and black pieces of gunk got washed down the hole. it wasn't a sight for the pretty. proceeded to scrub it with industrial strength abrasive cream cleaner. inside, outside, at the bottom, the lid...

while washing gigantic barbantia, turned around and looked at little barbantia which was in equally disgruntled state andproceeded to dismantle and wash it too.

sprayed both barbantias with dettol-germ-obliterator-spray-thing and left them to dry.

back in bathroom, looked at the disgusting grey floormat and changed them to spanking new ikea ones (hand carried from singapore. yes london hasan ikea too, but they are far away). noticed that floor where little barbantia used to sit on was covered in yellow scale and had lots of dust and hair.

got down on hands and knees and scrubbed the ugly blue floor. as was doing so, noticed that pillar under sink had lots of streak marks and more yellow scale, so had to rid it of that too.

considered that if bathroom floor was this dirty and not much garbage being thrown as in kitchen, kitchen must be in worse state!

kitchen indeed in repulsive state. bits of onion skin, carrot shreds, smelly juices, squashed up baked beans...

got down on hands and knees and decided to scrub entire area. and since was already on hand and kness, figured might as well do all surrounding area, including under washing machine, cabinet doors, walls and radiator.

found little nooks and crannies were hard to stuff fingers in, so whipped out aeroplane toothbrush and brushed years of dirt and dust off.

after cleaning said area, stood up to wash hands at sink and noticed metal blinds were annoyingly dusty. therefore, had to clean that too.

and sink after.

retreated to room all sweaty and smelling of wild boar, and grumbled about unruly state of room. decided to prove to the world (most importantly myself) that i could resist the temptation of procrastination, and decided to move furniture around, unpack boxes, set up new clothes rail and fold lot of clothing on sofa.

furniture moved all over the room, and eventually returned to same position. but floor was vacuumed, and used entire roll of toilet tissue to mop it. boxes moved from one end of room to cunning space under bed. bed sheets changed and washed. clothes rail filled with technicolour spectrum of clothing!!

am ever so please with myself.
